Hello, My Name is Daniel.

Born and raised in Westchester, NY, moved to Israel at the age of 20 to volunteer for the IDF, serving as a special forces infantry soldier for three years. Fell in Love with the food and warmth of Israel, and stayed to live in Tel Aviv for another five. The next adventure was The Netherlands, moving to the picturesque Utrecht for a year and then to Amsterdam where I currently spend my days.

I have a serious passion for everything AI and Machine Learning, and want to be one of the people that drives how humans interact with machines in the next generation. I'm focused now specifically on Deep Learning / Computer Vision, and am looking to use my skills to improve health and/or save lives.

I'm currently a data scientist at Adyen, the Dutch unicorn and the biggest company you've never heard of (soon you will). If you've ever processed a payment through Uber, Google, Facebook, Netflix, Spotify, Nike etc., then we made your payments happen. I spend my days developing the RevenueAccelerate product, using our vast data to make payments so easy you forgot you were paying. I do this by building machine learning models and writing algorithms that will make decisions and automatically optimize all configurations of the payment. This product made over €100,000,000 over the last 30 days for our merchants, pretty cool..

My journey to Adyen passed through different professions, different countries and very different life experiences. I crave adventure, am terrified of boredom and thrive in the face of adversary. On my free time you can find me playing music, traveling, doing yoga, painting, writing, dancing, programming, snowboarding, reading, meditating or just hanging out with friends.
